REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
The requirements to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony are the following: Contact the Church 8 months before the desired wedding date .One or both be baptized.
DOCUMENTS:
- Interview with Priest
(To fill out the forms of the Church)
- Baptismal Certificate His
(needs to be recent, maximum 6 month).
- Baptismal Certificate Hers
(needs to be recent, maximum 6 month).
- Marriage Certificate or Marriage License
(to be obtained within 30 days before the ceremony).ss Interview

(Complete Inventory and follow up sessions).

- Natural Family Planning

Los requisitos para recibir el sacramento de matrimonio son los siguientes: Contactar a la Iglesia 8 a 12 meses antes de la fecha deseada.Uno o ambos ser bautizados.
DOCUMENTOS:
- Entrevista con el Padre (llenar las formas de la Iglesia).
- Acta de Bautismo de El (el acta debe ser reciente, máximo 6 meses).
- Acta de Bautismo de Ella (el acta debe ser reciente, máximo 6 meses).
- Certificado de Matrimonio, o Licencia de Matrimonio (obtenerla 30 días antes de la fecha de la boda).
- Entrevista de Testigo del novio (Llenar las formas de la Iglesia).
- Entrevista de Testigo de la novia (Llenar las formas de la Iglesia)FORMACION:
Preparación Matrimonial Católica:
- Las clases se ofrecen en nuestra parroquia una vez al año, aproximadamente al inicio del año.
- Planificación Natural de la Familia
- La impartición de esta clase está basada en el tiempo voluntario de instructores fuera de nuestra parroquia. Cuando ellos lo programen, se les avisará a las parejas.
- El Centro San Juan Diego tiene instructores que imparten estas clases. Pueden llamar al (303) 282 – 3317 o revisar la página de internet: https://centrosanjuandiego.org/ministerios/pastoral-familiar/nfp/
- FOCCUS (Completar el inventario y sesiones de seguimiento).
Se les hablara para programar su primera cita.
**Si los requisitos mencionados arriba no se cumplen, la ceremonia no se llevara a cabo. **
Requirements to baptize
• Child must be under 7 years old.
• Copy of the birth certificate of the child to be baptized.
• Parents and godparents must attend a pre-baptismal class. (Every first Wednesday of the month)
• Register for the pre baptismal class in the office, at least one day before the class.
• Pay $ 10.00 per person for the baptismal class. (We only accept cash)
• Godparents: If they are a married couple they must be married by the Catholic Church.
• Single Godparents: They must be over 16 years old, they must be Catholic and must have the
Sacraments of initiation (Baptism, 1st Communion and Confirmation).
• They CAN NOT be Godparents if they live under common law or if they are only married only by the court.
Baptisim / Bautismo
Requisitos para bautizar
· Niño(a) debe ser menor de 7 años. Los Bautizo son con cupo limitado
· Copia del Acta de nacimiento del niño(a) que va a bautizar.
· Papas y padrinos tienen que asistir a una plática pre bautismal. (cada primer miércoles del mes)
· Inscribirse a la plática pre bautismal en la oficina. La platica es con cupo limitado.
· Pagar $ 10.00 por persona para la plática per bautismal. (solo aceptamos efectivo)
· Padrinos: Si son pareja de matrimonio deben estar casados por la Iglesia Católica.
· Padrinos Solteros: Tienen que ser mayores de 16 años, deben ser católicos y tener
sus sacramentos de iniciación (Bautizo, 1ra Comunión y Confirmación).
· NO pueden ser padrinos si viven en unión libre. O solo están casados solo por el civil.
